About Us

Ann has been engaged in the practice of public accounting since 1991. Prior to starting Cole Smart CPA she was a senior tax manager for a local CPA firm. Ann specializes in tax and business consulting with experience in multi-national individual taxation, estate planning and trust administration.

Ann holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting from Central Michigan University and in 2003 earned the professional designation of Certified Specialist in Estate Planning. She is a member of both the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Ann lives in Hartland, Michigan with her husband James and their two sons Travis and Troy. She is actively involved in their church and spends much of her free time coaching or cheering at her kids sporting events.

Lee has been engaged in the practice of public accounting since 1991. Prior to joining forces with Cole Smart CPA, she was a Senior Tax Manager with a local CPA firm. Lee’s primary areas of expertise include federal and state tax as well as tax planning, and has significant experience in research and business consulting for closely held businesses. She has special expertise in real estate and partnership taxation, multi-national and multi-state business & individual taxation, estate planning and trust taxation.

Lee lives in Waterford on Elizabeth Lake.
